The Four Seasons Iftar buffet- a family affair!

four seasons (2)Last Saturday (before the night market at the art centre 😉 ) we met up with some good family friends for Iftar at the new Four Seasons at Bahrain Bay and what an Iftar it was! Thing 1 and Thing 2 were all dressed up in their favourite traditional gold lined thobes. Thing one was so proud to be dressed just like daddy <3.

For  those of you who haven’t been to the Four seasons yet the hotel is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out.  The opulence of the interior was dazzling, yet despite this grandness, everyone in our party down to the smallest members were made to feel complete comfortable and at home. The only time I felt slightly concerned was when after checking my reservation, we entered the grand ballroom we were lead down to one of the ornately decorated podegas at the end of the room and I was slightly concerned we had been put in the wrong seats but no, they were ours! Yay! Our tablet had its own waiter who was brilliant, impeccable service all evening, he really helped make the evening special! We were also informed that there was a supervised child’s club, which the kids absolutely loved, in fact my youngest didn’t want to leave at the end of the night and asked to come back again, another night!

The food itself was amazing, there was just sooo much choice, salads, Thai, Indian, a carvery station, fresh pizzas and pasta the list is endless! There were so many vegetarian options, it was a wonderful change to be able to have so many options. 🙂

However the real star of the show was the dessert counter. The chocolate fountain and the sundae station were a major hit with my smallest two (and with Mr BahrainiB ) My favourite from the dessert station was the crepes, filled with chocolate freshly shaved chocolate from a giant chocolate slab, they were utterly heavenly ❤ The whole meal was rounded up with exquisite Italian coffee- I am a coffee addict and it was so refreshing to have a wonderful cup of coffee while out ❤

At 25 BDs it wasnt the cheapest but it was great value for money and worth EVERY penny, I cannot rate this Iftar highly enough it was an all round wonderful experience I cannot wait to go back to again for our Eid celebrations! ❤
